BlinkList enhancements

I just wanted to announce two new enhancements that we just rolled out on BlinkList:

1) The search suggestions on BlinkList are now as powerful as those on Google Suggest

2) We added a new tag manager that allows you to rapidly rename / merge / and delete tags

Both features make BlinkList easier to use. The better search suggestions help you to find the most interesting public discovery pages in less time and the tag manager makes it much faster for you to clean up your list of tags if you like to have them organized.

I hope you enjoy both enhancements and look forward to getting your feedback on how to keep making BlinkList better and better.

BlinkList finshes first in social bookmarking review!

In a review of the top 10 social bookmarking services, BlinkList finished in the first place ahead of del.icio.us!

That is exciting news and all the credit goes to our stellar development team and of course to our BlinkList community that is always pushing us to keep making BlinkList better and better.

The survey also points out one weakness and that is that BlinkList is not all that easy to use if you are a new user. In other words, BlinkList rocks because of all the advanced features, but we have to continue to make it simpler, and easier to use, especially for new users that have just signed up.

If you want to check out the review just click here

Well, there are a lot more improvements that are on the way to keep making BlinkList better and better which should help tremendously to make the service easier to use and also much more fun!

Del.icio.us copies more BlinkList features

If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, then we are very flattered as del.icio.us continues to roll out more features to match BlinkList. Today del.icio.us announced:
We’ve added a new area called “your fans”, which lets you see users who have added you to their network.
This feature has been widely available on BlinkList for over six months and it has been very popular with our users. So, it makes sense that del.icio.us would add it given enough time.

To be fair, del.icio.us has started to speed up its pace of development and they have started to release more features more often including new unique features that are not available on BlinkList (for the most part because those features have not been requested by our community).

Either way, it's time to roll up the sleeves and get back to work to keep making BlinkList better and better for our rapidly growing community!
